Jefferson's First Inaugural speech mainly focused on his praise for the Constitution. He says that it makes it very easy for him to be President because it tells him exactly what to do. However, he shows modesty in the beginning of his speech when he explains that his talents are limited and most likely below the standard of President, but then later he says that thanks to the Constitution he has a guideline to follow. This guideline applies to the entire population of the United States of America, as well. He says that America is special because the citizens have certain liberties and freedoms. He, also, says that the government is so efficient because of the people and the people have these freedoms because of the government. Basically, Thomas Jefferson says that America is the best country because of the Constitution and the people in it.
